We offer a home visit to each family prior to their child joining us , this is an ideal opportunity for you to meet your child’s key person and share with us what your child likes/ dislikes , how they like to be comforted and their routines, all this will make the transition from home to nursery as smooth and easy for both parent and child.
Our Twinkle Stars Room is the perfect environment for our babies aged from 3 months until they are two. We have lots of stimulating light, sound and texture for them to explore under the care of our dedicated team. The children have access to the outdoors on a daily basis and enjoy the mud kitchen and the space to run and be loud.
At the stage that your child is ready, we have exciting challenges in store for them in our Pre School Room. In preparation for school our children grow their confidence and skills to allow them to discover a whole new dimension to the world. We encourage independence with all our Pre School children, supporting them to develop a “have a go” approach to their learning. The children have access to the outdoor environment on a daily free flow basis. Outdoors they have access to a Mud kitchen, Water wall, Giant sand pit and with muddy puddle suits and welly boots on they are outdoors in all weather. many outdoor activities every step of the way, and the Pre School Room also benefits from free flow in and out of the garden area. How to join Young Discoverers
We understand that choosing the right childcare is a huge decision so we provide the best possible environment for children. Come and visit us as many times as you and your child like for a Stay and Play session before making this decision, or perhaps join us for lunch, and see how we enjoy this very sociable part of our day. Stay and Play sessions enable you to see how comfortable your child is in the environment, and how they interact with the other children and staff.
We welcome you to drop by to the Nursery or the Before and After School Club at any time during our opening hours to register your child or to visit and ask us any questions that you may have. The only time we would like to know in advance that you are coming is lunch time, so that we can include you in our numbers and provide you with a meal. Registrations are subject to availability.
