Playworker

We have a vacancy for a Playworker to work at our Before and After School Club at Escrick.  Ideally we seek a practitioner qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in childcare, but this is not essential as training can be provided, and someone who is able to bring a true sense of fun and excitement to sessions.  Working with children aged between 4 and 11 years, you will be responsible for assisting children with homework, leading and supporting games and activities, and serving food.  Sessions operate 7.30am until 9.00am and 3.15pm until 6.15pm Monday to Friday during term time only.  This post is initially for 2 afternoon sessions, but could potentially rise to more.  Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.   To apply, please print and complete our downloadable application form, and send it to the Nursery address.
